ABOUT CATHY
Cathy Raper is Australia’s Chief Negotiator for the Australia–European Union Free Trade Agreement at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). She has led Australia’s negotiations with the European Union, working closely with governments, industry, and international partners to strengthen Australia’s trade relationships and improve market access for Australian businesses.
With extensive experience in international trade policy and diplomacy, Cathy has represented Australia in numerous high-level negotiations and has played a central role in shaping Australia’s international trade agenda.
Her work focuses on creating stronger economic partnerships and supporting Australian businesses through improved international market access.
